Electronic commerce has quickly become a necessary and valuable element of doing business. The inexorable improvements in the underlying technologies enable more functional and complex e-commerce applications. The advances create both opportunities and challenges for researchers, developers, and users of e-commerce systems.

The goal of ISEC-02 is to provide a forum for researchers, developers and business users to share and disseminate information about current important research and application issues concerning electronic commerce. This conference will feature invited talks and presentations of refereed papers covering the major areas of electronic commerce.
